Kodak aims for the record with the world's biggest photo album!

Yes, my baby campaign! Just recently, we launched Kodak's effort in making a record breaking attempt for the World's largest photo album. There's currently an existing record set by Dubai last 2003 with a photo album standing 7.5 ft by 3 ft but this time, we aim to put the spotlight on the Philippines with an album of 8ft by 5ft containing memories of the entire nation.
It was soft-launched early April but won't be open for the consumers until April 23, 2007....
This was the campaign that I was referring to in my earlier post (yes, the one that I was so antsy/nervous/figitty (yes, there's a whole slew of words to describe all that was going through my tummy during that time.) What makes this so different from the other campaigns? Well, this was my brain child. From conception to implementation, I was really hands on so for me, it's a personal challenge to just make it fly. (Damn, that's the perfectionist in me speaking).
ANYWAY, enough PR talk. Let me tell you the awesome stuff that happened in the launch.
SO.... I called up a couple of fabulous people (of course with the help of fabulous Ale of A&B) namely supah model
Phoem, boxer/host
Juddha, pinoy rock royalty
Mojofly, singer
Agot Isidro, the one and only eventhologist
Tim Yap and legendary pinoy rapper
Francis Magalona (oh my! My childhood hero... Shet, I was so starstruck since I grew up listening to his songs!) .... Anyway, back to my story.... I called them up if they were interested to be amongst the first few contributors to the World's Biggest Photo Album. And, I'm so glad that they all agreed. (You guys are really, really, really fabulous)

Juddha shared a photo of his recent trip to the States, an image depicting him with his 2 sisters riding a carousel... That no matter how old they may be, they still have the courage to display a heart of a child.

Phoemela on the other hand shared her graduation photo. According to her, a college degree is the best gift that she has given her parents, especially her dad before he died.

Tim Yap shared an artistic image of Ornussa Cadness in a pool. Entitled, "Liquid Dreams" now, let's all think why..... =)

Agot Isidro shared a photo of "Her Boys" Manu Sandejas and their pet dogs. Notice that Manu's wearing Nike (Okay Miles, just kick out that marketing mind of yours.) Agot is truly beautiful, hanggang ngayon!

Mojofly shared their favorite group photo! They're just so cute!

AND... Mr. Francis Magalona shared his photo. I was so starstruck with FM! I grew up with his songs... Mga Kababayan ko. I-am-such-a-bonifide-fan! But before I share to you what Francis Magalona shared for the World's Biggest Photo Album, let me tell you a little funny snippet.
The traffic was really heavy on that particular day. It was unfortunately when the kidnapping of kids from a school occurred (damn mad people, they're just so, so, retarded!) Anyway, my heart was beating a gazillion beats per second because Francis was going to be late coming from Eat Bulaga and the show must go on...
So I called up FM to ask where he was and he mentioned he's nearing Makati. Confident, I told my event partner, "Let's get on with the show."
.... 5 more minutes left and no sign of FM.
.... (at this point, malamig na ang tulo ng pawis ko)
.. Rrrrrrring! My mobile phone blasts off. Ta-da. It's Francis.
Miles: Hi Francis! Where are you?
Francis: I'm here at Greenbelt 2, but I don't know where Kimpura is. I'm right in front of Friday's...
Miles: DON'T MOVE (In a tone similar to how Sean Wayans delivered his "Move, bitch" line in the comedy White Chicks -- Yeah, the one when he was acting like a girl but when diarrhea becomes him, he couldn't hide his Adam's
apple...)
Ecstatic, I yelled to partner-in-crime
So there I was... With my 4 inch Ferrari red shoes, running towards Fridays. Here's the closest image of the red mules that I was wearing on that day... But the heels are thinner so you can only imagine the pain.

What was more ironic was... Before the event started, Ale (Kodak's super event partner) and I were talking about my shoes.
Ale: Grabe your shoes. If a dog were to run after you, siguro nakagat ka na.
Miles: Okay ka lang? I would have used the heels to sway the dog away. He'll be scared.
Lo and behold, my heels were put into test to sprint towards Fridays.
ANWYAY, moving on with my story, when I reached Fridays, I saw FM there. Side story, even though he's gotten a whole lot older with 8 beautiful kids, he's still as flawless as ever! Idol ka talaga!
Miles: Hi Francis! How are you?
Francis: I'm good. Sorry it took me a while to get here. Since Anjo's running for a position in the coming elections, I'm doing a lot in Eat Bulaga. Usually I'm done by 1:30 but since there are absences, I fill in the role.
Miles: (with all my ka jologs-an) Ahhh ok.. So double shift ka ngayon? (Did I just say
double shift??? I wanted to run through the wall.
Francis: Double shift? OO. .. .. Haha.
Miles: ..... He He He ... he... (dammmmmnit)
.....
Miles: Anyway, sorry to rush you, but we already started the program and we're all just waiting for your part.
Francis: Ah ganun ba?
And then he starts running. Syempre he's wearing flats so naturally when he made a dash, I lagged behind with my Ferrari reds! hahah. It was too funny because he didn't know the way and we ended up running around Glorietta.
Francis is such a nice guy!
The photo he donated to the world's biggest photo album is none other than an image depicting his youngest daughter, Clara.... All together now,
Awwwwwww..... :-)
